Ballet BC 50/50 Raffle Rules of Play
● The 50/50 raffle will take place from February 17, 2024, to March 17, 2024, with the final draw occurring on March 18, 2024, between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM at 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC. Tickets will be available for purchase online at www.balletbc5050.com.
● Ticket purchases must take place within the province of British Columbia, and the winner must be physically present to collect their prize. BC residents may not purchase entry into gaming events on behalf of non-BC residents with the intent to distribute entries outside of BC.
● Directors and employees of Ballet BC are not permitted to enter the draw.
● All tickets will only be sold to individuals who are 19 years of age or older.
● Ticket Prices:
○ 1 ticket for $10
○ 10 tickets for $20
○ 25 tickets for $50
○ 50 tickets for $100
● Tickets will be sold using an electronic raffle system supplied by BUMP, a division of CBN.
● Draw Date and Cut-Off:
○ The main 50/50 draw will take place on March 18, 2024, at Ballet BC, 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver.
○ To be eligible, ticket purchases must be made no later than 11:59 PM on March 17, 2024.
● After purchasing, participants will receive an emailed receipt with their 50/50 registered ticket numbers generated by a Random Number Issuing System. Numbers are assigned randomly, and specific numbers cannot be requested.
● The winning ticket number will be selected using a Random Number Generator (RNG) system from all tickets sold. Participants do not need to be present at the time of the draw to win.
● The 50/50 prize amount will be continuously updated on the raffle website and will equal 50% of the total ticket sales at the time of the draw.
● The winning number will be announced on www.balletbc5050.com. The winner will also be contacted directly by a Ballet BC representative via phone and/or email.
● The winner can claim their prize by contacting Ballet BC by emailing eventscoordinator@balletbc.com . The winning ticket must be brought to 1286 Cartwright Street, Vancouver, BC, at a pre-arranged time for verification.
● The prize will be awarded via cheque once the winning ticket is verified. The winner must present the original ticket—copies will not be accepted.
● The winning ticket holder has 6 months from the draw date to claim their prize.
● To claim the prize, the winner must provide photo identification and verify their phone number and address.
● Upon verification, the winner will receive a cheque for 50% of total sales. If the winner cannot provide photo ID, the prize will be held until proper identification is provided.
● If the winner does not claim the prize within 6 months, the unclaimed prize will be donated back to Ballet BC, with approval from the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) of British Columbia.
● No refunds will be issued for any ticket purchases.
● Any complaints or concerns can be forwarded via email listed on the raffle ticket or purchasing website. All issues will be addressed directly by Ballet BC.
● If unforeseen circumstances delay or prevent the draw from occurring as scheduled, Ballet BC will notify ticket holders via email and post updated information on the raffle website.
● These Rules of Play will be available on the raffle website under the Rules of Play section.
